20 Best Movies Of The Zeroes

At the risk of stating the obvious, we're at the end of a decade. Time for lists! Here's the best movies I saw that were released from 2000 - 2009. Obviously, this shouldn't be taken as a definitive list. I reckon that if I had seen all the movies of the decade (or, you know, even a quarter of them), the composition would be altered, possibly significantly.

I made this list by going to the Wikipedia page for all movies of the decade and quickly scrolling through, jotting down favorites as I went. I wound up with a list of about 35, which I whittled down to here.

If you haven't seen some of these . . . well, you ought to.

Come on now, FilmChawians. I've shown you mine. Lets see your'n.

1) Mulholland Drive (2001)

2) Waking Life (2001)

3) Children of Men (2006)

I drink your milkshake!! Bestest movie ever.

Ooh, also Dogville! I always forget how great that movie is. What's the other awesome Nicole Kidman movie...with the creepy little girl who's all "are you mad? I am your daughter"!

Wow, RDS, we dont' agree on movies all that often. For some reason, I didn't think Dogville would be a point of similarity. Awesome!

The movie you are thinking of is "The Others", and it was on the list of 35. It nearly made the list.

Post your list, yo.

Dude, Dogville = I tried to be good. I really really did, but sometimes people just need killing. This is the story of my life. :)

I will do my list, but i wanted three in just the list of number titled movies...I'll never make it through B without 15!
